Homemade flapjacks, modern decor, inviting communal lounge
The parking area felt quite tight when full, making it tricky!!! Some rooms are smaller than expected, and not having proper temperature control can be uncomfortable!!! It might be best to look ahead for dinner options!!!

The rooms have a charming character, with unique touches like homemade flapjacks waiting upon arrival. En-suites provide a brilliant shower experience, and the breakfast options are well prepared with delightful choices including exquisite scrambled eggs.
The room sizes can lean toward the compact side, leaving some visitors without a chair for getting ready—my wife had to settle for the floor, which wasn't ideal. Beds require updates to avoid inadvertently jabbing knees on protruding wooden frames, especially in tighter quarters. taxi services are sparse.

From the moment we arrived, the delightful homemade flapjacks in our room set a warm tone. The breakfast is a feast for the senses, with local black pudding and salmon with scrambled eggs—just divine! Our hosts, Chris and Jenny, made sure we felt right at home with personalized tips and engaging conversations.

The homemade flapjack waiting in our room was a real treat, made me feel right at home. Plus, I had the best breakfast with local ingredients, especially the black pudding and salmon with scrambled eggs—just fantastic.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Our group trip was fantastic! We loved the relaxed atmosphere and explored the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, enjoying scenic rides. The outdoor tennis court was a nice bonus! Breakfast was top-notch—fresh and local. Don’t miss visiting Flamingo Land Theme Park and Yorkshire Lavender while you're there!
The only downside was that it got a bit chilly in the room at times, but we could’ve easily asked for the radiator to be turned on.
